Abdominal Therapy
Abdominal Therapy is a noninvasive, external massage technique. This specialized therapy focuses on mobility and proper positioning (alignment) of abdominal and reproductive organs. We work with women of all ages to support fertility, women's health, digestive health, and prenatal/postpartum wellness.
Why is abdominal and reproductive organ mobility and alignment important? When these organs are immobile and out of alignment, there can be a major restriction of blood flow, hormone flow, lymph flow and nerve flow to the entire abdomen. This often shows up as women’s health dysfunction, fertility challenges, and digestive dysfunction.
Add explanation/example of dysfunction specific to women’s health, fertility etc (I’m making a separate page for each).
The good news - these issues can be addressed. During sessions, we’ll gently mobilize and reposition abdominal and reproductive organs, and restore blood flow, hormone flow, lymph flow and nerve flow - optimizing health and function to the reproductive and digestive systems.
Sessions are tailored to each client and their goals. Abdominal Therapy is a blend of Mayan Abdominal therapy, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, clinical massage, cupping and other appropriate modalities. We will address the entire abdomen (between the ribs and pubic bone); along with the low back, hips, and sacrum, as appropriate.
